Aloïs Marignane

Aloïs Marignane is a freelance illustrator for children’s books, magazines, and brands. In his studio, Aloïs paints cities, their midday atmosphere, and their inhabitants strolling along canals, through squares, gardens, and intersections. His work evokes the sunshine of Pagnol, sometimes with a touch of minimalism or, conversely, an infinity of details and, above all, an abundance of color. He mainly paints with extra-fine French or Japanese gouache on thick, high-quality 100% cotton paper to ensure the longevity of his creations.
